Believe it or not, CBS announced the 10 teams for this "version" of TAR this morning.
The official CBS web pages with the family bios are up, and not one team is west of Shreveport or Chicago.
At least two of the teams have children under age 10 on their teams, and there are several high school age students on the teams as well.
Rumor has it (based on a post by Hera from TAR 5) that they had some serious production difficulties and there were rumors at one point that the season might be cancelled. Apparently not, since the final three teams were spotted at a well known location that led them to the final finish. (Not gonna say where, but if you go to TARflies or TWoP the spoilers are easy enough to find.)
The TAR season 1 DVD goes on sale the same day as TAR:FE premieres, and there was word this week that TAR 7 will be released on DVD in time for Christmas. (Gee, guys, it's not like folks weren't watching the other seasons -- as GSN whose ratings have doubled since they began nightly repeats of all 7 seasons in early July.
(There, I started a thread.)
